Weeeeeeee! new Wordpress blog? Yes, I think so.

I may add more grey to make it less blinding tomorrow, but I wanted to get this ‘up’ asap because I’d like for this blog to show rather than some yucky Bebo profile when someone ‘Google’s me.
Why would someone be searching for me on Google? Apparently potential boss people google search candidates. I wouldn’t want to lose out on a tasty job because Nicola Ball up north with her bad grammar, bad spelling and love of ’sex and smoking’ when she’s 20 with a daughter…. is what comes up when someone wants to find ME. I actually ‘do’ stuff on the internet so I think it’s fair =P

Speaking of job applications, I got a rejection letter today. I’m sad, since it would’ve been cool. However I am happy a company actually bothered to send me a letter of rejection rather than ignore anything I’ve sent them, which a lot of places have done. Kudos to Ellis Smeaton for their letter and yummy lime green paper.

So..yeah. A blog. Kinda annoyed at myself for getting nicolaball.com rather than nicolab.com or nicb.com…
